As far as the direction of this website, I can shed some but not a whole lot of light on the answer. Within the bounds of this website I intend to talk about various issues ranging from complete garbage to topics that are on the more serious side of things. I just finished writing the “About Me” page so I would recommend reading that for more elaboration on where this is all headed.

There was a bunch of themes/designs I could have chosen for this website, some of them flashy and embedded with a bunch of pictures and such. I chose a simple one, so the focus could be the content rather than an awesome layout. This may or may not be upgraded in the future though, but it always will be fairly minimalistic.

When you first create a wordpress blog, one of the first things that the writer will notice is a lovely starter post named “Hello world!” Now I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that most of us look at the thing and banish it to the trash bin, to accompany what is surely to be the home of many, many posts in the future. But here, on this website, it shall stay. It stands to remind me of the very moment that this blog went live, the very moment I decided to write in a public manner tied to my real name, my real identity. There is no pseudo-name used here, there is no anonymity here. What I say can and most certainly will have an effect on my life as a whole.

That is why that post must stay. I look at it now to remind myself that at least for a moment I had the audacity to write somewhere that would be linked to me the most public of ways— on my facebook. Perhaps not long from now I will look at it with a whole new meaning, maybe I’ll look at it in with awe as I try to comprehend what in the hell I was thinking.

Let’s try not to play the part of an oracle though. We’ll leave tomorrows worries for tomorrow, I am far to busy with right now.
